AED Health Fair Mission
After the unfortunate dissolution of the 365 HealthFair in 2023, the Alpha Epsilon Delta chapter at the University of Colorado Boulder chose to continue serving the community by organizing a new Health Fair. The 365 Health Fair and the 9 Health Fair before it were cornerstones of the community and left large shoes for us to fill. AED-Boulder strives to step up and help the people, as those before us did.
Vision
Our health fair is entirely run by a group of AED members who are dedicated to serving our community's health. We recruit medical providers who are willing to volunteer their knowledge and medical services to serve the public. We partner with local organizations to help us organize a free health fair where members of our community can receive free medical exams/procedures, free medical advice, and the opportunity to donate blood.
About AED at the University of Colorado Boulder
The Colorado Alpha Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Delta at CU Boulder is proud to offer comprehensive social, volunteering, philanthropy, development, and networking opportunities to all pre-health students at CU Boulder. Everyone is welcome to join, but we are nearly all planning on pursuing careers in the health professions.
The mission of the Society is to encourage and recognize excellence in premedical scholarship; to stimulate an appreciation of the importance of prehealth education; to promote communication between health and prehealth students and educators; to provide a forum for students with common interests; and to use its resources to benefit health organizations, charities and the community.
